These workers are crucial to supporting the sector, by picking, harvesting and packaging different types of produce. If you would like to come to the UK for seasonal work or if you have a question about your rights, this resource is for you.
What is the Seasonal Worker visa?
The Seasonal Worker visa is a fixed-term visa that allows people to work on British farms for up to six months. Five operators recruit and find employment for workers on farms across the UK. Operators, also known as labour providers, act as visa sponsors. The operators are responsible for workers’ immigration matters, ensuring worker welfare, and transferring workers between farms when required.
