The Work Rights Centre is looking for a Head of Immigration to join our ambitious and fast-growing team. We are a charity set up by migrants, for migrants, and for all disadvantaged communities throughout the UK, and as one of few organisations with Russian – Ukrainian speaking staff, we’re at the forefront of the UK’s response to the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine.
We’re looking for an expert colleague to lead this important immigration work with grit and grace. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a strong sense of justice and experience in providing immigration advice, who values impact, teamwork, and the autonomy of working in a small and agile team.
The Role
As Head of Immigration, you’ll lead our immigration casework by working closely with our team of advisers, and contribute to our strategic policy influencing agenda in collaboration with senior management. This is a real opportunity to help vulnerable migrants to escape conflict and secure their status in the UK, but also to use frontline intelligence to formulate an ambitious policy agenda, pushing for change at systemic level.
